We Found Love In A Hopeless Place

Another outfit wearing my black pumps, this time paired with a gorgeous jumpsuit from Forever New. Simple but yet elegant at the same time! I'm loving my hair in waves at the moment so...I might just be wearing it like this a little more often:)

Nifty Fifty's

I chose this outfit to wear out to dinner the other night, and I think the dress is so lovely, it feels like a fifty's inspired number! The little bow belt and the open back are cute touches to the outfit and the feel of the outfit is so elegant! I paired it with simple black pumps.

Simply Casual

Yesterday was so sunny and hot, and what better way to enjoy it, then by wearing comfortable shorts and a flowy T? These white shorts are gorgeous, and when I first got them I decided they needed a little bit of an 'oomph' to give them something extra and perhaps brighten them up! So...out came the cheese grater and nail files to roughen them up and give them some frays and slashes that they otherwise wouldn't have had! An improvement I have to say!:)

The Rest Is Still Unwritten

I've been lusting after some Christian Louboutin studded loafers for a while now, but I guess I'll have to make do with my own version that I got about a year ago (sniff). I love the colour of this slouchy top and it matches the colour of the shoes perfectly!

My mom's been rocking the boyfriend jean trend lately, and I have to say I love the whole 'baggy' look that it creates. I am desperately searching for the perfect pair for me!

Flirting with Florals

When it comes to dresses, I have to admit I'm a huge fan! They are so easy to wear, and can look lovely paired with simple sandals and a cute bag! This one is gorgeous with the colours and the floral print. The buttons by the bust are also so sweet! I paired this one with simple white sandals and a vintage bag that was my mother's!

What's New

I'm so sorry for the delay with this post, but it's finally done:) These are my new shoes from Country Road that I grabbed when I saw they were on sale. I had spotted them earlier, but had been unsure about getting them, so when I saw them 50% less I couldn't resist! They are so beautiful!

And how lovely is this bag from Forever New? It has fast become one of my favourites, simply because I adore lace, it's so romantic!

And these scalloped shorts from Mr.Price  are gorgeous, and I love the effect of them too:)

And finally, I couldn't resist some more baggy, 'boyfriend' shirts from Mr.Price, the colour is lovely and so is the fit. I love them!

I thought I would show you a preview of tomorrow's post, these fabulous brogues are now a new addition to my mother's closet! The leather is so soft and the brown is a soft vintage shade. And those laces...how adorable are they? I have already began my plotting to steal them...now to just get my mother out the house so I can pounce...haha:)

Business in the front, Party in the Back!

I thought the title of this post was appropriate for this top! I see that 'mullet' tops are slowly becoming more and more popular, and I quite like the look of them! The longer length back helps bring a quirky surprise to the whole outfit, whilst the front still looks chic! I love the snake print of this one, and it goes beautifully with my skinny black jeans and new shoes that I absolutely love from Aldo (after seeing them on my mom first). 

I paired it with my black 'jeweled' cuff and ring from Woolworths, and my brown friendship bracelet

And I've been playing alot with different shades of nailpolish, and 'art' on them as well! I like how the 'shattered' effect brings out a different look with this colour!

Golden Hue

I wore this out to breakfast yesterday, and I have to say I absolutely love the colour of the jersey. It's such a lovely gold, and matches perfectly to  my pumps from Mr. Price. It's also a cropped jersey so it goes higher in the front, which I thought added a twist to the outfit! I paired it with a chunky golden cuff and simple gold rings.

Two Tone Wedges

Jeans and black vest- Woolworths/ Jacket- Mr.P/ wedges- Country road

I'm in love with the two tone wedges from Country Road, and they are so easy to wear too! I chose a simple black outfit to wear with them, along with my Dior brown bag which my mom gave me a little while ago! I love the colour of the bag, and even though it's quite big, it's easy to carry and not at all heavy like some bags are! 

I decided to have some fun with my nails, and did a little nail art on my ring fingers! I quite like the effect, and it added a bit of fun to a normal pink nail polish!
