I feel so girly when I wear this skirt, the soft pink tones and floaty feeling of it gives it such a feminine look. I wore it with light pink ballet pumps, and a boyfriend T to give it an almost slouchy effect. And I decided to wear an Alice band for the first time in years. (Please excuse my shocking white legs, it almost looks like I'm wearing white tights haha) 

I love the sheer fabric of this skirt, it gives the outfit a whole new dimension.

Amber Jones Bow Top

After seeing this top advertised from the new Amber Jones range from Mr.Price, I waited in anticipation until it finally popped up in the store, needless to say I practically pounced on it! I'm sure my eyes zoned in on it immediately and I hardly saw anything else hehe:) It's so sweet, I love the bow in the front and the open back, I love the buttons, the sleeves...basically I love this top! I wore it with simple jeans and my beautiful brogues with a floral effect and tan colour tones!

Peter Pan Collars and Ruffles

How adorable is this little white blouse? I think I  may just love it! The Peter Pan collar and ruffles just add a certain sweetness to it, yet the white and sheer look adds a bit of femininity. I decided to pair it with shorts and my 'uber' comfortable wooden wedges that I got last year from Country Road. And of course the perfect hairstyle to match it, a simple braid to add some romance.

I love the surprise of the open back, it's so unexpected yet gorgeous!

And here it is, my mom's anniversary present that I am completely obsessed with! The gorgeous deep burgundy colour is to die for and the whole shape is stunning. It's the perfect bag, and I think it would compliment any outfit. I'm in love:)

Anniversary Dinner

Yesterday it was my parents' 26th anniversary, I'm so proud of them and can only hope I find someone to spend 26 years with :) We went out for a lovely dinner, and because it was quite cold I opted for this lovely brown and black knit from Country Road with my AMAZING heels that I am completely in love with! They are the most comfortable pair I own, which is quite rare because I usually find wedges to be more bearable! I have to admit, I felt like quite the oddball last night, everyone had a significant other except me...oh and my brother, so we had quite a fun time being the only single ones hehe!:)
(Oh and I'm so excited to show you the gorgeous gift my mom got, I'm SO jealous!! But more of that later)

When it comes to my nails, I have to admit I have a bit of an addiction to nail polish. I can barely walk out of a make up store without picking out a new colour ... or two hehe:) And I'm partial to all different colours whether it be a pastel or bright funky ones like the gorgeous one I'm wearing now: Sublime Strawberry, I love the colour and the fact that it smells like strawberry's is an added bonus!!

I came across this funky green polish from Revlon, which I've yet to try. But the fact that its fragrance smells like a beach instantly drew me to it, and the Rimmel Disco Ball looked great too!

Sheer Blouse

There's something so feminine and pretty about this blouse, which was what first caught my eye in the store! I love the floral print and the colours, and I decided to pair it simply with black skinny jeans and accessories! 

And my mom was looking super stylish once again, with a striped Tee and boyfriend jeans...

Girly Dresses

I am absolutely in love with dresses, all types: maxi, midi and even empire waist ones like this one. And when it comes to colour, I'm not fussy but I do have a love for white. The softness and clean lines are gorgeous, not to mention soooo easy to pull of with cute accessories, like this amazing lace detailed bag from Forever New.

Week In Pictures

This week has been so exciting, what with the new Zara store opening in Sandton City, and the launch of the new Mr.Price store as well.  Both of which left me speechless, the gorgeous clothes are amazing and the space and whole feel of the store was lovely too!! So it was inevitable that we would leave with something beautiful from the shops, and it did not disappoint!! But first, some pics that I managed to snap with my phone, everything was so gorgeous!

And the Mr.Price store was seriously cool, I love what they've done! And the selection of clothes were amazing!
