I was feeling under the weather yesterday so I didn't go to work. I was better today so off I went. For the record, I didn't get that job for which I was interviewed a few weeks ago. Oh well. I guess I'm to sexy for that job.
I was going to comment that I've been wearing a lot of black lately but looking back at my posts, apparently I haven't been.
Blouse: anthropologie
Skants: Melow par Melissa Bolduc (last worn here)
Tights: Hue
Shoes: Fluevog Presence | Impel
However, I did wear these shoes on Friday. Whoops! I don't think I've ever repeated footwear so quickly. Obviously I need to refer to my blog before getting dressed in the morning.
I wore these pants because it was -19C with the wind chill today and I wanted the added warmth. It was a good thing to since there was no heat in my office for most of the day. I finally clued in that my baseboard heaters were stone cold and complained to the building and they were fixed in 15 minutes. It pays to complain.
This photo is kinda blurry so I'll keep it small.
I'm coming up on 300 posts. It will either be on Friday or Monday since I have Friday off and may not post. I'd like to say that I've got something special planned but I really don't. Maybe I'll think of something fun between now and then.
Tomorrow I get to go to the hospital to get cortisone injected into my sinuses. I've had this done a few times before and it's LOADS OF FUN. Wish me luck.

Yellow, red, and black cats
First off, I'm extremely flattered that Sal from Already Pretty has profiled me on her site today. Such a nice surprise. Thanks so much Sal. I wondered why my site views were through the roof.
It's especially nice since I was looking at the referrer logs for my Flickr pictures and discovered a Russian discussion board where the participants were saying some uncomplimentary things about my outfits. Not that I really care. I just found it interesting.
Today I have no real plans but I went out for breakfast and now I'm getting caught up on The Walking Dead. The show is full of gore and violence yet they seem to have qualms about showing two naked boobies. So messed up.
Cardigan: Cleo via Value Village
T-shirt: Gap (had it for ages)
Skants: Melow par Melissa Bolduc from the Workshop (last worn on Friday)
Socks: gift from a friend
Shoes: Messeca (last worn here)
While getting dressed this morning, I had all of this on except the cardigan. I thought to myself "I wish I had a yellow cardigan". Then I remembered, I DO!
I found it in a pile of clean clothes in my laundry room, hence its wrinkles. But it's Sunday so no need to be perfect.
Wow...it's very wrinkly! Maybe I should have ironed it.
I've had these socks for a while and have worn them but I didn't think to build an outfit around them until I saw them on Joni's blog Walking Colors. Fabulous stuff.

Purple flowers in December
Just got home from getting my haircut. Voila!
I kept the length but got my bangs trimmed up. I feel more like me again.
Cardigan: Pretty Things Boutique (last worn here)
T-shirt: Reitmans
Skants: Melow par Melissa Bolduc from the Workshop (last worn here)
Tights: Anna Sui (gift from Megan Mae!)
Shoes: Fluevog Truth | Pilgrim (last worn here)
I cut my feet off. Whoops.
Funky tights, eh? Thank you so much Megan for sending these too me. I got lots of complements on them while I was out and at the hair salon. Fun and funky.
Going out now to take my recycling back. WHOOO!

Return
Sorry about the disappearance. I was away for work and busy. I'm way behind on reading everyone's blogs too. I hope to get caught up this weekend. Might give me something to do when I'm getting my new tattoo this Saturday! WHOOO!
Lots of changes are afoot at work so I'm a little stressed. And when I'm stressed I procrastinate which makes me even more stressed. Vicious circle.
Jacket: Lilith (last worn here)
Shirt: Reitmans or Smart Set
Skants: Melow par Melissa Bolduc from the Workshop (last worn here)
Hosiery: Sock Dreams (last worn here)
Boots: Cydwoq
Lots of layers going on here.
Does spray starch still exist? I have to do something to fix this collar. I've ironed the hell out of it but it won't stay flat. Kinda drove me nuts all day.
True confessions? I couldn't wear these boots for very long. They close with elastic loops at the back and they are quite tight. I think I've finally come to terms with the fact that these boots and I are not meant to be. I'll probably be consigning them so that someone with skinnier calves can enjoy them. Makes me sad as hell though. *weeps*
Glad to be back!

Wicked Witch of the East and Bowling for Critters
Today was a lovely warm day. So warm I didn't even both wearing a coat.
Blouse: People's Market via ASOS
T-shirt: Old Navy
Skants: Melow par Melissa Bolduc from the Workshop (last worn here)
Tights: Hue
Shoes: Steve Madden (last worn here)
I was a little worried that these tights would be a little too Wicked Witch of the East but what the hell. And low and behold, didn't our server at breakfast say that exact thing to me. Stripey!
Today I spent most of my day doing laundry, cleaning and getting caught up on Boardwalk Empire. Such a good show and such gorgeous clothing.
As promised, here's what I wore to Bowling for Critters last night. It was quite a blast. First they allow dogs to bowl and second, pitchers of beer were only $12.00! Good beer too, not crap beer.
I was definitely overdressed but had lots of fun bowling in this flouncy outfit.
Here are two videos. One of the bowling dogs - oh so cute! - and one of me bowling courtesy of my friend Anita.
Black and red seem to be a theme this weekend.
